The Tall Shirtdress You Need in your Life

With the holidays quickly (and thankfully) approaching, we’ve been reflecting on Christmas’s of the past and how 2020 has changed this year’s wishlist. This year we’re hoping family and friends stay healthy and safe first and foremost. As for the clothing, you know we might never stop wanting new and amazing options. But if COVID has taught us anything, it’s to raise comfort up higher on our list of “needs” while shopping. 

Enter the dress that can do it all: the boyfriend shirtdress from Height Goddess! It doesn’t matter if you need a work dress, a house dress, a travel dress. I think you’ll find this option fits the bill for all the above. If you’re wondering how that’s possible, we think it’s the magical fabric mixture of cotton and spandex. We’ve often bemoaned our lack of dresses with long sleeves, especially living in the Midwest. This dress has the perfect length sleeves to fit both 6’4 and 5’11. Plus the shoulder cut is correct, no need to size up here – all true to size! We are both wearing the dress in size large. The cadet grey option is the spandex/cotton blend and has a bit more structured feel to it. The black shirt dress feels a bit slinkier! I think you can tell the difference in pictures as well. 

The added bonus is the option to cuff it up to be worn as ¾ length sleeves. Normally we’re forced to buy mainline button-up shirts and keep them tabbed because the sleeves are nowhere near long enough. But this shirt dress just keeps providing new options.

Tall Tracksuits are 2020’s Outfit of the Year

Cozy season is upon us, cue everyone skipping over Thanksgiving to Christmas decor because 2020. While we all may have been able to spend more time outdoors this year in order to maintain social distancing, I know we’re not alone in shuddering thinking of the long winter ahead trapped inside. But just because we’re stuck at home, doesn’t mean we can’t wear clothes we love, right?!

Sure, maybe those old mismatched sweats you’ve hung onto since college did the trick during quarantine 1.0. But somewhere along the way, you caught yourself slipping them on for the umpeenth time, wondering at what age you’d start investing in some updated pieces. Perhaps with less stains or cracked writing on them.

Then as retailers started to shift their strategy to match us all sitting at home, beautiful options appeared! Plus, stylish retailers like Height of Fashion had long been plotting their matching tracksuit releases, and all the tall women rejoiced together! It didn’t take much encouragement to jump on these tracksuits is all we’re saying.

How you prefer your loungewear to fit is how we’d advise you to choose your size. Both of us found that both sizes worked well.

As you can see, there is great length for either of us at 5’11 or 6’4. The Real x CoIX Interview

Hey all! We know it’s been pretty quiet in these parts recently. We are super excited to direct you to Coix’s website today, for an interview we did a few weeks ago.
