Wow, it’s been a minute. Apparently the weather has been getting us down more than we realized! Plus being busy with our brother’s wedding, a 30th birthday trip for Caitlin, and preparing for Wesley’s 1st birthday party. I’m feeling sentimental about it, especially as I see pictures this time last year of my pregnant belly. It’s been one amazing year! But anyway, back to the reason for today’s post, Cupshe May swimsuits roundup! If you missed our last roundup, check it here!

We are excited to be partnering with them again, as we loved our first round of suits. Honestly this round is even better! The new prints they have released are perfect for Summer. It’s hard to believe Summer is even around the corner in Wisconsin, but we know there are sunny days in our near future! If you haven’t started thinking about swimsuits yet (if you need any new ones of course) now is a good time. Let us show you what we got below and we have a discount code to share at the end of the post as well!

First off we would like to make a blanket statement in saying that we think all of these suits are wonderful quality and an even better price point. Swimwear has gotten out of hand at a lot of shops these days, especially tall swimwear. Cupshe offers so many great tall friendly options that have us feeling like our best selves. Scroll down to see our Cupshe May swimsuits picks!

Oil Slick Reversible Bralette And Cutout Hipster Bikini Set & Oil Slick Cutout Bandeau One Piece Swimsuit

We both snagged this oil slick print. Me in the bikini, and Caitlin in the one piece. As you can see there is plenty of space on the one piece and the bottoms of the bikini are wonderfully high. The print is so fun and colorful!

Mercury Retrograde Solid Mini Bralette & High Waist Bikini Set

This electric blue is going to be killer with a tan. We both loved it online but it’s even better in person. The color is vibrant and the fit and comfortability is top notch. This will be a great swimsuit for playing with Wesley or skiing on the lake.

Flower Power Cross Back Bralette And Cheeky High Waist Set

After the blue floral suit from our last haul, this one was a no brainer. The fabric and feel of this one is everything of the sort. This one is a bit more supportive in the top and will allow for a lot of activity!

Deep Ocean Twist Front Bralette And Banded High Waist Set

This floral print suit honestly fit like a dream. I love the security of the top, the high bottom and the floral print. It’s another swimsuit I can run around in without feeling over exposed!

Hunter Ditsy Floral Underwire Bikini

This bikini was shockingly my favorite of the bunch. I feel like the scrunchy top detail on the bikini is so flattering and I felt wonderful in it!

Yvette Blue Rib Underwire Bikini & Nature Trip Paneled Underwire And Banded High Waist Bikini Set

Can you say twinning? We both got this one in different colors. We would each choose a smaller size in the top the next time around but we are loving it!

Okay I like floral, can you tell? This one is such a wonderful print and fit. The top again will be great for whatever the day throws at you and the bottoms are perfectly high rise.

Relaxing Flowers Tie Front Bralette And High Waist Set

Joyful Garden Tall Tri And Banded High Waist Plus Size Set

I am ready to pop off in these bright sunny colors this summer. It is the perfect floral print! Unfortunately it is already sold out of this print, but I linked the plus sized option above.

Happy Leaf Faux Bunny Tie Bralette And Classic Hipster Set

Another floral but make it a little bit hawaiian? If you’ve been here awhile you know my love language is bright colors, fun prints, and anything that helps me express me!

We went with XL for all of our swimsuits above. We’re borderline between sizes and next time we will likely try some larges instead! We hope you enjoyed our Cupshe May swimsuits haul. Happy to answer any other specific questions as well!

We are super excited to be back and sharing our LTS Spring wins. Essentially this haul is a total win! A lot of women have been struggling when shopping with LTS since they relaunched, basically due to the returns process. We’re hoping to share our sizing info so you can confidently make a purchase and not have to worry about returns whatsoever! *We were gifted all of these items but our opinions are our own*

You’ve seen us share Long Tall Sally items over the last few months and we’re excited to see them continue to improve their offerings. We also have been able to hone in our sizing preferences, which always makes online shopping that much easier for tall women! Let’s take a look at our LTS Spring wins below! Everything not pictured below is included in the two reels we posted on Instagram!

Long Tall Sally Spring Jackets and Shackets

LTS Tall Camel Brown Teddy Jacket

If you haven’t hopped on the Teddy Jacket yet, what are you waiting on?! These cozy fluffy jackets are a perfect addition to your collection. Teddy jackets are a bit warmer than your average jacket, so they will help fill in the gap on those in between days. This jacket is nicely lined and perfectly proportioned! This Teddy jacket is the first of many LTS spring wins!

LTS Tall Khaki Green Belted Twill Jacket

Another jacket that I have always wanted in my tall size, was a utility jacket. I felt like Goldilocks, always on the hunt for the “just right” details. This jacket absolutely fits the bill and I’m glad I didn’t settle for one I didn’t absolutely love! Utility jackets are a must have for light layering. This twill fabric is a great quality fabric that will hold up to whatever your day brings!

LTS Tall Blush Pink Cord Shirt

This shacket-like Cord shirt is surprisingly lightweight, probably because it isn’t lined. That makes it all the easier for me to layer. The length of the sleeves is amazing and the shoulders fit great as well. Plus the pink is the perfect hue. It’s also available in another color or two! Wearing a size US10. This does have a bit of stretch to it as well.

LTS Tall Khaki Green Distressed Denim Shirt

If you like a little bit more grunge in your life then you need to snatch up this shacket. It’s pretty much the same fit as the Pink Cord Shirt, so perfectly proportioned for your length. Caitlin got it in a size US10 and it is also long enough for me at 6’4.

Long Tall Sally Spring Dresses

You need to grab at least one of the dresses below from our list of LTS Spring wins!

LTS Tall Black Zebra Print Shirt Dress

I’m just going to put it out there, because I feel this strongly – this is the perfect shirt dress. I put it on despite it being Caitlin’s choice and I told her I was going to keep it. (Obviously I failed LOL). That tells you pretty much all you need to know. The shoulders fit, the sleeves are long enough, and the print is timeless. Grab it while you can!

LTS Tall Pink Ditsy Floral Midi Dress

This bright floral print is the perfect dress to grab when you’re over another gray Wisconsin “spring” day. Essentially you can be your own Spring when you wear this easy dress! It is an ideal fit with a looser cut but shirring at the waist to draw your eye in. You can also layer a belt to mix it up or throw a denim jacket over it for the ever changing weather! Caitlin is wearing a size US10 in this as well.

LTS Tall Black Ditsy Floral Maxi Dress

A super cute maxi option. This is a great length for Caitlin at 5’11 but anyone taller it comes up a bit short. It’s a beautiful print and is a nice conservative cut. Overall a classy maxi dress that skims over your curves. Caitlin is wearing a size US10 and it is true to size. Note there is no stretch.

LTS Tall Black Polka Dot Wrap Dress

This dress has a wrap upper body and it did up gaping a bit more than appropriate. Luckily it’s an easy fix by either sewing it shut or just using a safety pin to close it to your liking. It’s a great dress to be able to wear to work and casually with sneakers. It is super lightweight so despite the long sleeves you could wear well into warmer temperatures plus polka dots are a classic! Caitlin is wearing a size US10 and could probably size down one if between sizes.

LTS Tall Black Ditsy Shirred Midi Dress

Another perfect dress for Spring. It is lightweight but the long sleeves will still keep you warm while the weather catches up. I love the subtle print for a bit of floral without going overboard. I’m wearing a size US10 but if you are smaller chested like me, you could borderline size down. Otherwise throw on a belt and it will cinch it in a bit more.

LTS Tall Blue Tiered Denim Midi Dress

Denim dresses have been around and I don’t think they are going anywhere anytime soon. The only question is how to pick the right one! I think this dress ticks all the boxes we could want. Easy fit, midi length, and for the denim fabric to have a bit of structure but still be comfortable! Honestly the last time I got a denim dress was before LTS closed and restructured. I have to say the fit on this one makes me want my own. Caitlin is wearing a size US10.

LTS Tall Beige Brown & Black Dogtooth Check Midi Dress

Lastly, Caitlin has had this dress for awhile but it is worth mentioning. She loves the marriage of trends, the brown with the dogtooth timeless pattern! It is a jersey material so lots of stretch and therefore not structured. It does have a tie at the waist so you can pull it tighter if needed. Another dress you’d get tons of wear to work with! Caitlin is wearing US10 as well.

Long Tall Sally Denim

LTS Tall Black Washed Boyfriend Jeans

I’m pretty excited about these jeans. There are certain trends you see and you assume will never work on you/your body type. That was the case with boyfriend jeans, but LTS has convinced me otherwise! These jeans have minimal stretch so if you’re between sizes size up. I’m wearing a size US12 and I have a bit of extra room but I don’t think it would look great to have it be too tight. Plus they offer multiple inseams so all of our long legs are covered!

LTS Tall Blue Mom Jeans

These jeans also don’t have any stretch. I chose a US10 without knowing that and I will say they are very unflattering on my butt because they are too tight. When in doubt, absolutely size up! The leg is slightly slimmer than the boyfriend jeans above and tapered, so I would tell you to choose based on your leg cut preference but go with the same sizing between the two pairs.

LTS Tall Blue Denim Dungarees

Lastly was my most fun selection! Dungarees/overalls have always interested me, and I’m glad I waited around to try these as my first pair. The straps have a bit of extra interest to them, so they feel a bit more “grown up.” They also have a good amount of stretch to them but don’t seem to sag after wearing, so ideal! I am wearing a size US10. Worth noting that the hem is rolled and sewn shut. I’m guessing you could snip it if you needed longer but haven’t tested out myself, as they are long enough for my 37.5” inseam! These dungarees are one of my favorite LTS spring wins!

WHEW, that’s an exhaustive list. Hope this helps embolden you to pull the trigger on any items you’ve been eyeing. We totally get people’s hesitation when trying out a new online shopping experience, so we wanted to try to provide as much information as possible. Also an important thing to note while shopping – make sure you are changing it to US not UK sizing before selecting. There is a 2 size difference so that’s not a fun thing to realize too late. As always, if you have additional questions/comments/concerns, sound off below and we’ll get back to you!

Swimsuit shopping can be the worst. Add a long torso and it only gets harder! We both typically grab for a two piece but one of our roles as tall fashion bloggers is to try and grab as much research and intel as we can in all realms and needs. We know a lot of women, especially now, are grabbing for one piece swimsuits. In the past few years we have tried and returned so many, whether they were too short, too cheeky, too chesty or something else. We were like Goldilocks and they just weren’t quite right.

As the hunt continued, we were excited to see an Instagram pop up for Longpiece saying coming soon. It has been fun to watch this brand build itself from the ground up. And now we are lucky enough to try and review all of the Longpiece tall swimsuits for you! We are going to walk you through some of our favorite features of these suits.

The fabric and material is unmatched to any other suit we have tried. Most brands use one layer of lycra swimwear fabric paired with a cheaper lining. Longpiece tall swimsuits use two layers of high-quality Italian lycra instead which gives you the feeling that the fabric is thicker and more luxurious. And to make it even better it really holds you in and smoothes everything over. We can only assume this will help the suit hold up better over time as well. We hate when that cheap inner lining stretches out and peaks out of the swimsuit.

Not only is the fabric wonderfully thick it is also eco-friendly made from recycled and regenerated ocean waste (so cool!!) such as fishing nets. And to complete the eco friendliness they also ship in compostable packaging from the liners and stickers to the mailer. We love a company who doesn’t take short cuts. And if that isn’t enough to sell you, the fabric is also ultra chlorine and sunblock resistant and provides UPF 50+ protection.

The fabric, thread, bra cups, tags and everything else is sourced locally to the founder (In Australia). The pattern-maker and manufacturer are also both local family businesses. With no fashion background working with a family friendly business in person was a no brainer to help them land on the perfect fit.

The only thing left is the why behind Longpiece? It takes us back to the beginning-the market for long torso suits just does not exist. She wanted to create simple, sexy, swimsuits that show just enough while keeping you comfortable. The two of us love the neutral colorways she chose. And as two girls with a little extra in the bum we are thankful for the perfect amount of coverage that doesn’t slip.

We got all three of the suits in a size large and it was the great choice for us. And now as a personal review from taking these suits with us on our recent trip to Mexico: I think the fit is slightly different between the Staple (square neck) one piece and the Basic and One Shoulder. It seemed to have slightly less stretch, so if you’re between sizes we’d advise you to size up. The suits are a nice thick fabric that will help hold you in! So this means that although stretchy, it doesn’t leave a lot of room for sizing differences. We always encourage you to read the size charts and reviews if applicable (beyond just ours).

We hope you love them as much as we do- you can shop all three of them here. And use code THEREALTALL15 for 15% off of your purchase.

Despite what our Instagram feed would have you believe, we did more than just wear swimsuits while on vacation. We were forced to get dressed for dinner, and when we’re on a beach vacation we always choose easy outfits. In particular, dresses because they’re one and done for easy packing! Today we’re giving you a tall friendly Spring dress roundup, with an extra splash of a couple of other dresses we’ve recently grabbed. If you’re anything like us, you’re always on the lookout for another cute dress!

Express Tall Friendly Spring Dresses

First up are some of our recent Express finds. As you may know, we’ve been ambassadors for them for years now. There are always tall girl friendly pieces in their stores! I spotted this fun floral maxi. It made me think of my Hawaiian shirts I love to wear up north! So I had to try it. I hoped it was going to hit the perfect midi spot on me. Lo and behold, it does! I ordered a size medium because the cut is a bit more A line and that size worked great! The adjustable straps as well as the tie and cut out detail at the bust are my favorites. Unfortunately it is mainly out of stock already but stay tuned for them to restock in potentially different prints! Limited sizes available in a solid cream color here as well.

I also snagged this tie dye dress on major sale. First of all, it feels like butter. So so soft, especially after a day soaking in (perhaps too much) sun. Second, it combines my favorite things into one ideal dress. A little fun, a little sexy, and a lot of comfort. Plus I felt completely confident in handling Wesley without worrying about what I was wearing. I’m also wearing a medium. As mentioned it has a lot of stretch so when in doubt you can size it down! It is also available in a lot more sizes in other color ways, here!

When headed for warmer climates linen is always a safe bet. Caitlin found this cream linen dress also from Express (She didn’t get a full body picture on account of severe motion sickness). It is lightweight and again has the cute tie detail on the bust as well as the buttons down the skirt. She went with a size large because linen doesn’t stretch but she could have done a medium as there is a ruched back for added stretch. Also base your size off your upper body!

Cupshe

This leopard print dress is from Cupshe and a true surprise love! I didn’t have any expectations when selecting it because it again was billed as a maxi. I love the tiered skirt and the lace up back, which makes it super easy to adjust. Worth noting that it does not have stretch to it, but would definitely select your size based on your upper body.

Height of Fashion

Not a new purchase but worth mentioning, is this Height of Fashion jumpsuit. You might be sensing a theme of me enjoying leopard print. You caught me, it’s true! This jumpsuit is perfect resort wear. It is a silky smooth fabric. There is a zip in the back but also has a smocked top to the back for staying in place. The straps are adjustable so again it will hit at the perfect length for your preference! I’m wearing a size medium and would say base the size on your legs as there is not any stretch to it. Borderline could have gone with a large.

Recent Express Find

Lastly, not a dress from our vacation but Caitlin just grabbed this sassy black midi with the intent to wear it for the rehearsal and dinner for our brother’s wedding. It is a classy dress that still shows a bit of leg and has the flattering ruching style that we know and love in their other contour bodysuits! She bought a size medium for sizing reference.

Express Tall Friendly Sweater Dresses

If you live in a cooler climate where Spring continues to tease us, you might still be shopping for sweater dresses. Plus you know we love to snag a deal so we are always on the lookout for end of season prices to wear for next year’s cool temperatures. Keep an eye for this off the shoulder sweater dress to drop in price, as well as this dreamily soft mock neck black dress that can be worn to both office and nicer functions! If you like a fun hemline, you need to check out this cozy turtleneck dress. Lastly, there is this great cream and black color blocked wrap top sweater dress only available in red now.

Express Tall Friendly LBD’s

Honorable mention goes to these dresses we have been eyeing but haven’t pulled the trigger on yet. This thicker strapped cross back black dress (which is also their body contour style). Or if you prefer a scoop neck, this cut out back style is also such a great detail for an updated little black dress. Or if you prefer a cut out in the front, this body contour sheath is probably more your speed. Basically they are killing the LBD game right now. I still have a cut out bandage version from like 10 (eek so long ago) years ago that I will continue to wear because they know how to make a flattering dress!

We hope you enjoyed this tall friendly Spring dress roundup, and please let us know where you’ve been eyeing or buying dresses from so we can check it out or maybe even do a roundup from there! Check out our last dress roundup, for Winter wedding guest dresses, here.
